A one-minute launch film for version 13 of FlexGen's HybridOS, the software that runs solar and battery storage sites, cut from product screens, drone footage and animated type.

FlexGen builds battery energy storage, and HybridOS is the software its customers use to run their solar and storage sites from one place. This film announced version 13 and walked through what’s new: a single login, automated testing and market qualification, longer battery life, and real-time and historical data.
In 2025 I assembled, edited and animated the film, all in After Effects. It pairs the product’s own dashboards with drone footage of a storage site, green outlines traced over the solar arrays and a wireframe battery yard on a blue grid, all tied together with kinetic type.
